Vocel Scholarship fund

Margaret Vogel The Vogel Scholarship Fund for the Children's Choirs of Southwest Missouri was established in 1995 in memory of Margaret as a tribute to her love of music and her support of the Children's Choirs.

The Margaret Corbin and Victor Hugo Vogel Scholarship Fund is one of the many ways CCSM collaborates with the Springfield community to provide a quality arts experience for all children.

Margaret Vogel Victor Hugo Vogel was a dear friend and steadfast supporter of the Children's Choirs of Southwest Missouri since its inception in 1993. In 1995, upon the death of his beloved wife, Victor established the Margaret Corbin Vogel Scholarship Fund in her memory. Victor was a member of the Advisory Board, was instrumental in the establishing of the Endowment Fund, and made it possible for several young people to travel with CCSM to Italy and Japan.

Victor was a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army, a member of National Avenue Christian Church, and a published author who could always be counted on to write something wonderful about the Children's Choirs. Victor passed from this life on June 11, 2004 after a short illness. He is sadly missed, but his spirit of loving generosity and encouragement will continue through the Vogel Scholarship Fund.
